Chaga grows on Birch trees in Siberian forests and the fruit body is harvested to make the Chaga mushroom extract powder. The Chaga mushroom absorbs nutrients from the birch tree sap and uses them to make the amazing compounds found in the extract. Siberian Chaga extract powder is known for its Beta-Glucans, Polysaccharides, Betulinic Acid, Antioxidants and Phytosterols (mainly inotodiol, lanosterol and a massive amount of melanin and superoxide dismutase). The melanin gives the Chaga the dark black color and is a potent antioxidant, look for a dark Chaga Extract to ensure you are getting a large amount of antioxidants.

Superoxide Dismutase is the other potent antioxidant found in Chaga with an amazing ability to scavenge free radicals. The oxygen radical absorbance capacity score is used to measure the antioxidants in a substance, and Chaga extract has one of the highest scores ever measured.

Chaga (Inonotus Obliquus), also know as 'King of mushrooms' is an amazing mushroom extract with high bioavailability, large amounts of antioxidants, and adaptogenic betulinic acid (a naturally occurring triterpene) which boasts many health benefits.

Some benefits of Chaga include:

  • Supports the body’s anti-inflammatory response (study)
  • Supports energy and endurance (study)
  • Supports healthy cognitive function (study)
  • Supports healthy metabolism (study)
  • Supports immune system (against HIV and hepatitis C)

Suggested Usage - Add to water, teas/elixirs, smoothies/ fresh juices, etc.

Precautions: Chaga is high in oxalates, so keep this in mind if you suffer from kidney stones, vulvodynia, mast cell disorders, or other oxalate-related symptoms. Chaga is also a blood thinner and can help lower blood sugar levels. For that reason, it may not combine well with blood thinning medications like Warfarin or aspirin or with diabetes medications. Always speak to a trusted physician or other health care provider before adding new supplements, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, are currently ill, or take medications.

Chaga, or the as some like to call it "King of Medicinal Mushrooms"

Although it's not much to look at, is a very special medicinal mushroom that is gaining popularity in the west for its health benefits and appealing taste in the form of chaga tea. These benefits have long been known in the East, where Chaga has been used for centuries by people in Siberia, Russia and other parts of Asia."Chaga" is the dense black mass of mycelia (roughly 25cm to 40cm in size) that appears on the outside of birch trees infected with the non-toxic parasitic fungus Inonotus Obliquus (chaga). The hard & cracked black exterior, which looks like burnt charcoal, is called the sclerotium (plural sclerotia).

Chaga is used for age reversal through organ and gland regrowth and deep Immune restoration.

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) - Our Chaga extract contains more than 55 times higher levels of Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) than raw reishi mushroom, 23 times higher than Agaricus Blazei, 318 times higher than Phellinus linteus, 25 times higher than Lion's Mane mushroom, and 25 times higher than Maitake mushroom.

Chaga has a naturally occurring vanillin, the same as found in the vanilla bean. Therefore, it takes on a slight hint of vanilla flavour when consumed as a tea and doesn't taste anything like a regular mushroom.

This Chaga extract was developed using a dual extraction process, resulting is a fine powder that is completely digestible, unlocking the potential of Chaga. Each 100 grams requires over 6-8 pounds of Chaga, resulting in a 30:1 concentration, and a standardized extract of 25% of the active constituents in Chaga. As a comparison, unprocessed Chaga powders and chunks contain less than 1% of the active constituents (and even those are not bio-available).

This extract provides you with the most powerful Chaga in the world.
